Chicken, Beef, Pork, Fresh Eggs, Honey and Home grown goods straight from our land to your table. ZERO antibiotics. No factory farming practices. Just honest work and food your family can trust.

Our Story

Gumbert Farms may have been founded in 2023 but the dream began many years before. We always felt called to a life closer to the land, so we sold what we had, stepped away from suburban living, and started over from the ground up with the help of a couple good friends who quickly became family (shoutout Dinger Farms!)

We don't claim to know everything. Farming has a way of teaching you something new everyday, and we're grateful for the lessons that come with each season.

Our values are simple: honesty, faith, and a commitment to doing things the right way, not the easy way. We vow to provide you with healthy, clean, unadulterated foods grown and raised with love and compassion.

BILL & MICHELLE GUMBERT

Founders

We founded Gumbert Farms. Married in 2015, we spend our days raising the animals, growing the vegetables and striving to be good stewards of the land. Sunday mornings you can find us praising the Lord at Brownsville Bible Baptist Church!

DUKE GUMBERT

Director of Farm Security and Morale

Loyal sidekick, chore supervisor, and professional shadow. Duke takes perimeter checks very seriously but can be bribed with treats. Excellent at greeting visitors, rounding up chickens, and boosting morale with tail wags. Would clock in 24/7 if allowed.

PENELOPE

Head of Quality Control (Beef Division)

Penelope spends her days grazing, resting in the sun, and sampling every corner of the pasture. Nothing gets by her watchful eye. Around here, if the grass isn't good enough for Penelope, its not good enough for anyone else... and we trust her judgement.

CHESTER

Protector of the Flock

Chester keeps watch from sunup to sundown, always nearby and always alert. He looks after the hens, keeps the peace, and isn't afraid to remind the other roosters who's in charge. With his proud crow and steady presence, life in the coop runs on Chester's schedule.

BETSY

Head of Egg Production

Betsy spends her days keeping the egg basket full and the coop running smoothly. Reliable and steady, she sticks to her routine and keeps production right on schedule. Her eggs are rich, fresh, and full of bright golden yolks...and every now and then, she even surprises us with a double-yolker or two. The chicks may follow her around, but business always comes first.

CLOVER AND THE BEEBS

Pollination Crew & Honey Makers

Clover and her crew work quietly behind the scenes, pollinating pastures, gardens, and everything in between. Their steady work helps the whole farm to thrive. The honey they produce is rich and pure, carefully harvested, and tested to the highest standards to ensure the very best quality for your family.
